After doing some research on local realtors, my husband found Blake Rickels. Before sitting down with Blake for an initial consultation, we decided that we were looking for a realtor that was familiar with Knoxville, someone who communicates well, is trustworthy, and above all patient. Immediately after contacting Blake, we received a phone call to meet with him. Being a business owner myself, this sealed the deal. Throughout this process Blake was always a text/call/email away. He was extremely patient with us as first time homebuyers. He has even continued the relationship after buying our home, to ensure we are completely satisfied. I recently sold my house and Blake was my realtor. It was a more difficult situation because I was in another state while I was waiting for my house to sell. However, Blake made it as painless as possible. He handled anything that arose and he called me weekly to discuss the process and to give updates on how many people had viewed the house, feedback, etc. (this was in addition to email updates, as well). He always took the time to answer all of my questions and any time I talked to him, I felt like I was his priority (I have been made to feel differently by other realtors, so this was important for me). I had not sold a house before, and Blake gave me very honest advice and feedback, but also made it clear that he would support whatever decisions I made (pricing, whether or not to accept an offer, etc). I am very happy with Blake's service and if I ever go back to Knoxville, I will definitely contact him if I am looking to buy!

He had lots of connections for getting the property ready to sell. He dealt with our tenant (quite an undertaking) to coordinate showings. And did a superior job communicating long distance! He is passionate, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and professional. He had more than 15 showings in 3 days and we were under contract in less than 5 days! We closed on the house from Texas and felt like we were represented by the best! He's great and I'd recommend him to anyone!
